John has specialized in the disposition and sourcing Commercial Real Estate properties in the GTA and surrounding Municipalities (and in the case of major properties in various southern Ontario communities), with Royal LePage Commercial and Cushman Wakefield LePage completing numerous major transactions which have included the following property types: infill re-development sites; development land (residential, retail, and employment); Governmental, School Board, Religious, and Institutional properties; Camps and Conference Centres; Industrial buildings; and a wide range of Investment Properties including plazas, office buildings, apartment hotels, industrial buildings etc…

He has received numerous sales awards for his sales performance with Royal LePage Commercial, having received the President’s Sales Award on numerous occasions, the Award of Excellence for sustained sales performance over a period of years, and the Diamond Award of Merit in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

John has completed transactions for numerous governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, School Boards, Colleges, and religious groups, including the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Toronto District School Board, Go Transit, the City of Toronto, the Ontario Realty Corporation, the Anglican Diocese of Toronto, Sheridan College, the Family Services Association of Toronto, Ontario Power Generation, Canada Lands, various church groups, and the Royal Canadian Legion. In addition he has completed transactions for numerous Financial Institutions, Receivers, major corporations, and private owners including the Bank of Nova Scotia, the Toronto Dominion Bank, KPMG, the Co-operators Insurance, Manulife, Zurich Life, MCAP, Effort Trust, Ernst & Young, the Royal Bank, Mega International Commercial Bank (Canada) Richter & Partners, among others. In addition John has sourced properties and completed major transactions for various developers/builders.

John is familiar with the residential builder/development community and is a member of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), the Association of Ontario Land Economists (AOLE), of which he is Past President, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Prior to his career in real estate, John held various management positions in private industry and was Executive Assistant to an Ontario Cabinet Minister. He has an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University, and is a Professional Land Economist.
